Description

I'm regularly visiting a class about the backgrounds of modern japanese culture. One day the topic was Yoko Ono and in the end our lecturer went really emotional about it (as in sobbing out of amazement and deep respect). Me? I just couldn't understand why her stuff is supposed to be so great. I drew line-based fractals instead and in the end I felt like a bad person.

After a few days of thinking, however, I realized that it's something I simply can't understand. What I understand and respect, however, is that people get touched by certain things so deeply that they have to do something for it. I mean Yoko One's life is so full or drama, love and peace activism - stuff people can relate to. Did I mention he's a curator and even played Chess with her? Geez, I can only grasp how intense this must've been for him.

Anyway, I'll stick with the stuff that makes me cry. No, it's not patterns. It's Ash Lake from Dark Souls. Seriously, everytime I get it feels like a religious moment to me. Screw reality and conceptual art, Yggdrasil rules them all.
